.: MIA for a few days :.

Ca y est ! J’y suis ! Demain matin, mon équipe de déménageurs de choc vient m’aider à transporter mes affaires dans mon nouvel appartement ! On a récupéré les clés hier après midi, et je suis sur un nuage depuis ! Après avoir imaginé, rêvé ce moment depuis des mois, je vais enfin le vivre. Une nouvelle vie qui commence ! A compter de samedi, je n’aurai plus de connexion internet, et je ne serai plus en ligne que grâce à mon Iphone. J’espère que l’installation d’internet ne va pas prendre trop longtemps… Dés que j’ai une connexion, je vous raconte tout en détail ! Promis.

This is it ! I’m finally there ! Tomorrow my awesome crew of removal men will come and help me move all my stuff to my new place ! We got the keys of the new place yesterday and since then i’ve been floating in happiness ! After imagining and dreaming this moment for months, i’m finally going to live it. This is the start of a new life ! Starting on saturday, i won’t have an access to internet anymore. I’ll only have my iphone, so this means i won’t be posting here. I hope that the internet will be on pretty soon in the new place… As soon as i have an access i’ll come here and tell you everything ! Promise.

Martin nous a fait des éclairs pour le dessert. Apparemment il s’est levé aux aurores pour les faire. C’était super bon !

Martin made us some éclairs for desert. He woke up at dawn to make them. It was delicious ! 

Visite à la déchetterie pour le boulot. C’est là qu’on évacue les cartons, et apparemment je vais devoir m’y coller. Pas sûre que ça m’enchante réellement !!!

Visit to the waste management facility for work. It’s there that we evacuate all the cardboard boxes we use, and apparently i’m going to be in charge of doing so. I’m not really sure i like that !!!

Getting ready for the cold ! I went to H&M after work and i scored these socks and leg warmers,… everything for only 3€ !!!Je suis à l’annexe cet après midi. Il n’y a pas de travail, et je m’ennuie !

.: Déménagement | J-8 :.

Plus qu’une semaine avant le grand déménagement ! J’ai trop hâte ! Je compte les jours : plus que 8 ! Le temps me parait à la fois long et court. J’ai peur de ne pas avoir assez de temps pour faire tous mes cartons !!! J’ai déjà commencé. Mon appartement ressemble à un champ de bataille, il y a des cartons partout, et je n’ai pas encore fini ! Voilà quelques photos.

One more week to go before the big move ! I can’t wait ! I’m counting the days : 8 days ! Time seems long and short at the same time. I’m scared i won’t have enough time to pack everything !!! I have already started. My appartment looks more like a battlefield, there are boxes everywhere, and i’m far from done ! Here are some pictures.

Il y a quelques semaines on s’est retrouvé chez une de mes tantes pour manger des galettes. J’ai pour l’occasion, et pour le plus grand plaisir de ma chérie-cousine Barbara, décidé d’utiliser mes derniers polaroids. Eh oui, à quoi bon les garder au chaud, et ne jamais les utiliser ?… Voilà quelques clichés (principalement avec Barbara) :

A few weeks ago we got together at one of my aunt’s to eat some king’s cake. For the occasion, and to the greatest pleasure of my beloved-cousin Barbara, i decided to use my last polaroids. Well, yes, what’s the point to keep these polaroids and to never use them ?… Here are some pictures (mostly with Barbara) :

Ce weekend je me suis amusée à faire des tampons. J’ai trouvé cette image sur Pinterest, et je me suis lancée ! L’image originale vient de la boutique Etsy de Talk to the sun. Faites un tour dans sa boutique, elle a plein de tampons différents tous aussi sympas les uns que les autres. Comme j’ai les outils qu’il faut, je me suis fabriqué les miens.

This weekend, i had fun carving stamps. I found this image on Pinterest and i got started ! The original image come from Talk to the Sun’s Etsy shoppe. Go take a look at her store, she has a lot of cute stamps. Since i have the tools, i made myself a set of stamps.

J’ai craqué ! Samedi, je me suis acheté mon premier écran plat ! 80cm. Mon autre télé marche encore, mais elle prend trop de place…

I bought it on Saturday ! My first ever flat screen tv ! 31 in. My other tv is still working but it was taking too much space…

I’m starting packing. It’s a mess ! It helps make the time go faster. Two weeks to go !

On s’ennuie à l’ESAT quand il n’y a pas de boulot ! Avec Lucie on cherche notre nouvelle signature. Lucie m’a trouvé celle là, on a rajouté les vagues et les oiseaux parce que ça me faisait penser à une frégate !!! Je me vois bien signer comme ça maintenant…

We get bored at the ESAT when there is no work ! With Lucie we’re trying to find new signatures. Lucie found this one for me. We added the waves and birds because it was looking like a boat race !!! I could see me sign like this from now on…

J’ai pris mon après-midi. Il n’y avait pas de réunion et j’étais à jours dans mes écrits. J’ai profité du beau soleil pour faire une balade en vélo. C’était bon !

I took my afternonn off work. There was no meeting and i was up to date with my writings. I took advantage of the gorgeous sun to go and ride my bike. It was good !

J’avais envie, entre deux cartons de faire quelques choses de mes mains ! Voilà le résultat. J’ai passé la journée à la maison, jusqu’en fin d’après-midi, après je suis allée fourrer des crêpes pour la chandeleur ! Ils attendaient 200 jeunes, affamés après une longue marche aux lampions. A leur arrivée, les crêpes les attendaient et un bon chocolat chaud.

I wanted to do something creative between packing up 2 boxes ! Here is the result. I spend all day at home until late afternoon, when i went and help fill up crepes for the “Chandleur” ! They were waiting for 200 kids, starved by a long walk with their lanterns. When they arrived a plate of crepes and a cup of hot chocolate was waiting for them.

Je compte les jours avant mon déménagement, plus que 2 semaines. Je trépigne d’impatience. J’ai déjà commencé à faire mes cartons. Ca permet de patienter !!! Aujourd’hui, je voulais vous présenter une petite sélection de choses que j’aimerai avoir dans mon futur appartement comme meuble ou accessoire déco. Je pense que la plupart peuvent facilement être réalisés…

I’m counting the days before i move out of this appartment and move in the new one. Only 2 weeks left. I already started packing my stuff into boxes. It makes the wait more bearable !!! Today i wanted to show you a selection of things i’d love to have in my new appartment, pieces of furniture as well as decoration accessories. I think most of them would be easy DIYs…

Un petit banc à roulette avec une vieille planche de bois. J’avoue que ce petit banc serait parfait dans le coin télé au pied de la grande fenêtre dans la pièce principale. Ca peut être un petit siège d’appoint les soirs où ils y a des invités et sinon j’y verrai bien une petite plante verte (pas que j’ai la main verte,…).

A small wooden bench with wheels. I’m sure this bench would be perfect in the TV corner under the big window in the main room. It can serve as a place to sit when people are around or i could put some plants on it (not that i have a green thumb…).

J’adore ce coussin, il est très classe ! Ca devrait pas être bien compliqué à fabriquer soit même…
